In the event your target may require exposed natural diamonds for faster cutting of steel or cement plus the extreme duty wear resistance and impact resistance of the diamond-impreg grit, then we can offer both in one shoe called the HXDS. The example shown below is in its raw state as it comes out of the mold and before it is machined so it can be attached to the appropriate shoe stock. The natural diamonds are set in ridges of matrix to add some protection from shock loads. The diamond grit  is impregnated into the surrounding matrix material to a depth of about 1/2".

Shown below right is an example of  a 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" HXDS after burning through both sets of carbide slip buttons on an RTTS type packer in 21 hours at 80 RPM and about 3,000 pounds.
