Text Box: LPI (Low Pressure Impreg) is formed at one atmosphere in a conventional furnace operation.
Synthetic Diamond Grit can be blended with a mix of Tungsten and Tungsten Carbide powders and then can be molded into blades in such a way as to  form a "diamond-impregnated" cutting structure that contains about 1/3 diamond grit as large as 15 mesh and as small as micron size.  The resulting blade will act like a diamond grinding rock so to speak, in that the small grit will do work...dull...and slough out of the surrounding matrix...exposing new diamonds to do work. This action continues until the blade thickness is used up.
